Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser Review: Start Your Daily Skincare Routine Right

As you might have noticed, I’ve been on a skincare kick lately, and for me cleansing is the most important part of the routine. Today I want to share with you my experience with Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser from a popular Korean brand Klairs. I’m quite familiar with this company – I previously reviewed their BB cream, and also constantly stock up on their awesome sheet masks; but I just ran out of my foaming cleanser from another brand, and was looking for other options.

I think using a foaming cleanser in the morning is ideal, at least for my combination skin; right after waking up it’s still relatively clean but already accumulated some extra oil overnight. I used it a few times to remove makeup, but I felt like it performed worse than my regular makeup removers, which is another reason I prefer using it only in the AM.

Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser

Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser is formulated to be lightweight yet very gentle and moisturizing; to make it suit all skin types, the formula contains hyaluronic acid and aloe vera to soothe and nourish the skin, as well as tea tree oil to softly purify it. People with sensitive skin can use it, too, because it doesn’t contain common irritants: alcohol, sulfates, parabens, artificial dyes. Those of you who only support cruelty-free brands will be happy to know that Klairs doesn’t test on animals.

Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser actually really fun to use! The foam doesn’t immediately melt down into watery mess [like some other foaming cleansers I used], setting into firm bouncy peaks instead. I must be a 3-year-old inside, because I still love playing with bubble ‘stache, and this cleanser stays perfectly put until I wash it off 😀

Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser

Klairs recommends applying this cleanser to damp skin and gently massaging it in circular motions, which is what I’ve been doing. I noticed that after using this cleanser my skin didn’t feel dry or tight. The formula is almost scent-less, I could maybe smell a very faint trace of essential oils and extracts this product is loaded with, but nothing else – a great thing for people with scent sensitivities.

I’ve been using Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser every morning for a few weeks, and it fit right in with the rest of my skincare routine. My skin felt fresh, clean, and soft while looking radiant and healthy. I really liked how gentle it was, too. My husband has sensitive skin, and he really likes this cleanser, so we both use it now. His skin has improved a lot lately [which may or may not have something to do with me forcing him to follow a proper skincare routine], and he is even getting compliments from people 🙂

THE VERDICT
Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser is a great basic cleanser for any skin type, even sensitive. It’s free of common irritants, and full of natural moisturizing goodness, with a great formula that quickly won me over.
